How to Schedule an AWS Certification Exam: Online Proctoring or Test Center
AWS exams are delivered by Pearson VUE. Open your AWS Certification Account, choose Schedule New Exam, pick the exam and continue to Pearson VUE to choose an online-proctored or test-center appointment. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before without fees.

- Sign in to your AWS Certification Account.
- Choose Schedule New Exam.
- Find the exam you want and choose Schedule at Pearson VUE.
- You are redirected to the Pearson VUE scheduling page, where you complete the registration and choose your appointment.

Online proctoring or test center?

Languages and accommodations
AWS offers two language options. You can take the written exam in one of eight available languages, with a proctor who speaks English, Japanese or Spanish. Or you can take it in English and request an ESL accommodation for an additional 30 minutes.
AWS also provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The Before Testing page explains how to request them.
Cancel and reschedule rules
- You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment without additional fees.
- Use Manage Pearson VUE exams in your AWS Certification Account to change an appointment.
- Inside the 24-hour window you cannot cancel or reschedule.
- If you miss your appointment you forfeit the exam fee and are not eligible for a refund, except under the medical exception described by AWS.
Before test day
- Run a full-length, timed practice test in exam mode so the format and pace are familiar.
